    Description

    Shown on page 202 of Hazel Marie Weatherman's book of Colored Glassware of the Depression Era as part of a 4 piece set is the ribbed mixing bowl in Jadite.  It is 3.25" tall and 6" in diameter.  Manufactured by combining unsold depression green glass with unsold milk glass into a unique opaque color that contains Thorium salts from the green glass.  This is why it glows under a black light.
